Ever think about revisiting a watch from a prior review. You guys led me to purchasing an MBII. I’ve owned 4 and just bought another in the newer iteration. Really like what you guys do and hope you keep it going. This IWC is fantastic.

Wrong info. With vintage pieces like these, you’re much better off not having them serviced regularly. Only service when needed. Nearly impossible to replace some parts if they get broken or worn from constant pulling apart… esp the hands which are friction placed.

I absolutely love this watch, but I think two downsides that you missed: water resistance (do not swim with this watch, especially in the sea ...) and also it can be a little fragile, as an example if you pull on the crown a little too hard. Also, setting the date is a pain in the ass :)
